Our Textiles & Crafts
Chanderi :
Chanderi is a traditional ethnic fabric characterized by its lightweight, sheer texture and fine luxurious feel. Chanderi fabric is produced by weaving in silk and golden Zari in the traditional cotton yarn that results in the creation of the shimmering texture. The fabric borrowed its name from the small town Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh where traditional weavers practice the art of producing textured sarees in cotton and silk decorated with fine zari work.
Our Chanderi is an all natural textile, printed by a slow process of hand block printing by artisans from Rajasthan, India.
Handwoven :
We use high quality Handwoven natural textiles of India with a rich history spanning centuries. It is a versatile, eco friendly fabric with zero carbon foot print. It played a central role in the Indian independence movement, and became a symbol of self reliance.
Cotton Gauze :
Cotton gauze is a lightweight fabric made of cotton. It is made of plain weave or by a leno weave. In technical terms “gauze” is a weave structure in which the weft yarns are arranged in pairs and are crossed before and after each warp yarn keeping the weft firmly in place. It is open, airy weaved fabric , is perfect to wear during hot summers.
